Your Cabo Travel Guide

I grew up in a semi-nomadic fashion. Rotating between Cabo San Lucas, Marin County, and Maui. I've been truly blessed to be able to experience so many different places, cultures, ecosystems, healing modalities and cuisines. I even went to school in Cabo for some time, where I had no choice but to pick up the language as fast as I could as I learned 4th grade math in Spanish.

Besides learning español and how to make the best sopa de tortilla of all time (comment if you want that recipe), I've also discovered the best restaurants, spots, excursions, and activities in & around Cabo.

Going? I got you. This place is a blast.

Cabo San Lucas

The Mango Deck-Cabo. Parties, Land's End, hotels and nightlife.

Food/Restaurants

Gardenia's (authentic, amazing taco joint)

Bar Esquina (coffee shop & juice bar)

Nik San (a fave for Japanese, though can be hit or miss)

The Fish (new sushi hot spot)

Cabo Wabo (I grew up in this place. They actually have super good food + of course, live music. Come for a goofy, fun time).

Edith's

Hacienda Cocina y Cantina (views)

Hikes

Mt. Solmar (part is on private property, so research accordingly).

Activities

Banana boat

Scuba dive

Glass-bottom boat

Jetski

Dancing/Nightlife

Squid Roe (the trashiest + best place to go dancing on earth)

Crush (hip hop & things to climb on)

Cabo Wabo (live music & people-watching)

San Jose del Cabo

High end resorts, crashing waves, laidback feel.

Food/Restaurants

Agua at the Palmilla (high end & beautiful)

Flora Farms (super American, but so original & some of the best ambiance & food of all time)

Acre (sceney + beautiful if you go to explore, go to have a snack, leave -- dinner is WAY overpriced).

Chula Vegan Cafe (vegan in Cabo)

Activities

Snorkel at Chileno Bay

ATV on beach & through desert

Horseback ride on the beach (please only early AM or sunset if at all, horses are overworked!)

Skimboard

Surf/watch at Cabo Surf Hotel

Spa at Palmilla

East Cape

Authentic culture, dusty roads, empty beaches.

Activities

El Chorro Hot Springs

Punta Pescadero Beach

Snorkel/Scuba at Cabo Pulmo
